It was great to see all the children in year 3 enjoying their Egyptian experience this week. Partake came in to school to enrich the children’s learning. It was a fun and interactive day and the children learnt lots from it.

It was so lovely to see so many parents at the Foundation Christmas sing. It is the first experience the children have of performing in front for their parents and they all did brilliantly. There was a great mix of singing and dancing and the confidence the children showed was lovely to see. Thank you to the parents for their support with outfits. Thank you to the staff for putting together such a super sing and to the children for their amazing effort. Well done Foundation.

  • Be ready – Year 1 and 2 nativity

    Wed 18 Dec 2024

Wow, what a nativity! The children in year 1 and 2 blew our socks off this week with their efforts in their nativity. The children knew all their lines, their singing and acting was excellent and they all showed a proficient use of the microphone. The children told the story of the nativity through the play ‘Baubles’. It really was fantastic. Thank you to Jonathan, Christine and Nikki at the church for letting us use the beautifully decorated room and for their support in the build up to it. Thank you to all the parents who helped all the children learn their lines and provided such wonderful costumes. Thank you to the year 1 and 2 team who have worked tirelessly to create such a wonderful show. A final thank you to all the children for their incredible effort. We had lots of positive feedback from parents and it was a great way to start the festive season.

The children were great at taking the lead including completing a litter survey of the playground, speaking with teachers and finding the site manager to ask about the use of pesticides in school. They also checked out the school garden to see how the plants we had planted were growing in and are happy to report they are doing well.
